Animal Protein
The Improvement
For animal protein that is produced and consumed, a shift away from the most harmful industrial farming practices and toward more modern improved systems can significantly reduce public health and pandemic risks, improve food safety, and significantly reduce the suffering of many animals.
Lever helps public-facing food companies across the retail, restaurant, packaged foods, hospitality and food service sectors set and implement policies to eliminate some of the most harmful industrial animal farming practices from their supply chains. Lever also educates and supports farmers and producers to help them transition toward less-harmful systems.
